SEARCH NEWS: Greenlight donates resources to charity for Christmas

Published: 08-12-2009

Search marketing agency Greenlight is volunteering its services to anti-poverty charity Action Aid over the festive period.

The search specialist will take over the management of the charity's Gifts in Action PPC campaign with the aim of increasing online visibility and securing a £3 return for every £1 spent.

Christmas is the busiest period for Action Aid as well as the most important in terms of fundraising, so as part of its services Greenlight will re-write the charity's ad copy in the hope of driving a cold audience to the site and encouraging them to make a purchase.

Hannah Kimuyu, director of paid research at Greenlight is pleased the company is in a secure position to be able to offer its services for free. She says, "We want to help Action Aid's Gifts in Action campaign tap into visitors who want to give a thoughtful gift this year and by doing so will help communities build a better life for the future."
